3-Day Serengeti Express Itinerary

Day 1

Zanzibar – Fly to the Serengeti

Early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to Abeid Amani Karume International
Airport.
Board a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Serengeti. The journey takes approximately
2–3 hours (with possible short stops en route).
Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, your private safari guide will welcome you and begin
your first game drive immediately.
The Central Serengeti is characterised by open savannah and granite kopjes — ideal
vantage points for lions and cheetahs. Expect to encounter giraffe, elephant, buffalo,
and large herds of plains game within your first afternoon.
Picnic lunch served inside the park.
Late afternoon transfer to your luxury tented camp.

Day 2

Full-Day Private Safari in Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for a full-day private game drive.
The Seronera region offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing. Resident lion prides,
leopard territories along riverine areas, and cheetahs on the open plains make this one
of the most productive safari areas in Tanzania.
Depending on the season, you may encounter segments of the Great Migration moving
through Central Serengeti. (Migration presence varies throughout the year.)
Your guide will adapt the day based on wildlife movements and your personal interests.
Gourmet picnic lunch served at a scenic location within the park.
Return to camp in the late afternoon for time to relax before dinner.

Day 3

Sunrise Game Drive – Return to Zanzibar

Early morning game drive — the most active period for predators and ideal for
photography in soft morning light.
After breakfast (at camp or as a bush breakfast, depending on camp logistics), enjoy a
final en-route game drive toward the airstrip.
Scheduled afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
On arrival, private transfer to your hotel.
